Campus recruitment

Our campus recruitment usually starts in November and runs until mid-February. The selection process has three stages: application deadline, an analytic test and initial round of interviews on-campus, and the final interview day at our office in Orlando.

The interviews will take place one to two weeks after applications close. The main focus is to see how you interact with our consultants, and to give us insight into your career choices. On the day, you’ll work through case studies, tackling real problems from past SMC consulting projects.

You’ll be given detailed feedback after each round of interviews, and if we think you’re a good fit personally and professionally, we'll offer you a summer internship.

If you have any questions about the recruiting process, feel free to contact us at any time.

Non-campus recruitment

Once you've applied, we'll get back to you within two weeks. If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to an initial round of interviews with our consultants. If, after getting to know you better, we think you’re a good fit personally and professionally, we’ll invite you to an interview day during which you’ll have a further four interviews.
