Campus recruitment

Our campus recruitment usually starts in late September and runs until the end of November or early December. The selection process has three stages: application deadline, an analytic test and initial round of interviews on-campus, and the final interview day at one of our offices in the US.

The interviews will take place one to two weeks after applications close. The main focus is to see how you interact with our consultants, and to give us insight into your career choices. On the day, you’ll work through case studies, tackling real problems from past SMC consulting projects.

You’ll be given detailed feedback after each round of interviews, and if you're successful, we'll offer you a full-time position.

Non-campus recruitment

Once you've applied, we'll get back to you within two weeks. If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to a first round interview during which you’ll be interviewed by one of our project managers or vice presidents and asked to carry out an analytical test. If we think you’re a good fit personally and professionally, you’ll be invited to an interview day with four interviews.
