Our Data Science & Analytics practice combines the latest data science techniques with successful business consulting skills. This is how we develop models and solutions that focus on the "art of feasibility".

What you'll do


  • Work with your team in close collaboration with clients and internal colleagues from Management Consulting, Operations Consulting and the UX team
  • Inspire our clients to want innovative technical implementation and solve their needs. Act as a key figure in piloting and implementing solutions for these units 
  • Significantly drive the design and acquisition of new client projects in Data Analytics 
  • Assume responsibility for ad hoc analyses and existing analytics projects for evaluating and analyzing data records with large amounts of structured and unstructured data  
  • Be a part of the worldwide technical rollout of successful POCs 
  • Assume internal and external stakeholder management for your projects 
  • Act as a sparring partner for new technologies and for existing as well as new products. Help to find and develop new solutions within the department and with other partners 



What you'll need


  • Two to five years of outstanding performance in data science, software engineering, big data or a related field and some experience in the consulting environment 
  • Excellent university degree (master/diploma/doctorte) in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, data science/engineering, machine learning or a comparable field 
  • Master programming languages such as SQL, Python and R, as well as frameworks such as TensorFlow, and version control tools, e.g. Git
  • Deep understanding and mastery in applying algorithmic models. Ability to differentiate between technical quality features and limitations of different models and are able to document decisions for the selected model in a comprehensible manner  
  • Worked with visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik Sense and are able to use these tools to communicate even complex issues effectively
  • Proven project responsibility in data analysis and are able to independently reach a resilient and comprehensible solution, e.g. using model explainability models 
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and a strong entrepreneurial mindset 
  • Initital international work experience 
  • Highly developed communication skills in English; German is a plus 
  • High level of social competence and team spirit 
  • Consider being on the road for about 80 percent of your working time an exciting challenge
