After your arrival in Budapest, we will visit the Siemens facility where turbine components are manufactured. During our guided tour, experts in the field will give you unique insights into the technology and you’ll have time for questions and in-depth discussions.

 

In the afternoon you will experience Budapest on a Segway tour through the city. The dinner will provide you with wonderful views over Buda and Pest and you will have the opportunity to get to know our colleagues in an informal atmosphere, to learn about their personal experiences, and to get insights into consulting life at SMC.

On the second day, you’ll work on a real-life case study on the future of energy provision and experience firsthand what being a consultant at SMC is like. Working in teams, you'll be engaged with the impact of current and future trends in the energy market. You'll interview experts and prepare a solution step by step. You’ll find answers to exciting questions like these: What is the ideal energy mix? How can we master the challenges of decentralized energy generation and storage?

Below you´ll find all the information you need for the event. Did we spark your interest? Please apply by February 11, 2018.

The event is open to university students who have completed at least four semesters and doctoral candidates in the fields of engineering, natural sciences and IT with an excellent academic record. You should already have initial practical experience in strategy consulting or in a relevant industry and at least four months of experience abroad.

 

Please send us your detailed CV, a short cover letter and all relevant documents such as educational qualifications (incl. A-levels) and work testimonials. Your CV should include average grades or final grades when applicable.

 

You can send us your application in German or English.

 

The application deadline is February 11, 2018.

 

You’ll hear back from us by mid-February 2018.

 

We will cover travel and accommodation costs for all participants.

 

The dress code is business casual.
